Spring cleaning. Another chore. All these missions that Nikoban was doing as of late were starting to feel routine. And so when a mission came from someone named “Mister Okimura” to help with some spring cleaning he didn’t question it, or think anything of the situation. It was work, business as usual. While mundane, the grind that preceded it turned the activity into something habitual. Clean out the home. Nikoban showed up where he was required to, bright and early in the morning. Old people liked to wake up early, right?
As it turned out his estimate of nine in the morning was way too late. Mister Okimura was too good, already awake and beginning his work. It would cause Nikoban to need to rush as soon as he got there. Specifically, there was a certain job that Mister Okimura seemed intent on having Nikoban perform. Hauling around furniture was something that seemed to be Nikoban’s job, followed by cleaning out the space where the furniture had just been, and then hauling it back. It was actually surprisingly hard work, more so than many of the other missions that he had taken in the past.
