Finals! Chigetsu Hozuki vs. Inarie Yoru-Kaguya

The explosion of the clam’s summoning would result in Inarie being blown back, away from Chigetsu even when she had been charging forward. That was just how massive this clam was, the Ōhamaguri, with its weight easily surpassing that of the average two story building. Inarie  would end up tossed back, but at the same time this wouldn’t alter or stop Chigetsu’s course of events. Chigetsu would still ask the clam for help and retreat into its shell, hiding away from safety. Inside the clam Chigetsu would slip upwards to the center of the upper clam shell, pressed flat against the interior.

The Ōhamaguri, with Inarie no longer being in the range of its Genjutsu Binding due to her being blown back by its summoning, was unable to bind her. As such it was forced to interpret Chigetsu’s command in some other way.

Signaled in on Inarie’s position, sitting still off the ground with her tail coiled, the clam would make its move. Her general outline could be established, even with her strange tail. The human-like part of her chakra outline would be targeted by the clam, recognized even with its low intelligence as the target.

The shell would open, very quickly and very slightly. It only raised a few inches up from its closed position, perhaps three or four, and immediately a stream of water would erupt from its opened shell. It was a stream of an incredible intensity, just wide enough that it fit through the opening in the shell and could be directed without problem. It streamed out, piercing effortlessly through the raiton petals and aimed for Inarie’s midsection, but would continue on past and slam into the other end of the arena and slice through its wall on the other side should it be allowed to. With the clam’s sensory it would be more than capable of aiming, and tracking Inarie’s movements should she attempt to dodge or avoid the attack.

Inarie's shoulders tensed as she witnessed the clam opening up just slightly. She was prepared avoid in some way, but unlike the last few times where Inarie already had something in place to protect her. She did not this time. Before Inarie could blink, a stream of water seemed to teleport into view. However she felt cold like blood was draining from her as she felt something strike her back, her spine. She couldn't even feel the pain because it passed through her so quickly. The force behind it sends Inarie flying across the the arena. Being carried along by this stream as the monstrous force throws Inarie through the wall. As much as this stream could extend and then some.

Next thing Inarie could see is the world spinning as she could see flashes of white and then dark cracks of grey as rubble seemed to surround her as she could feel her back violently crashing through wall after wall. Until finally she was blasted outside as she felt sick to her stomach. Like she was hungry and her body was telling the Kaguya that something was wrong. Her intestines not only has been pierced through the top, but it's been pulverized into a liquid mess as she found it difficult to breathe. Whether this was from the shock or if her lungs was damaged as well. It was hard to tell as she kept spinning in the air past the Chunin Exams building. That it is until she crashes against a palm tree which snapped like a twig from the force behind it. It only slowed Inarie down as she bounced from tree to tree until finally a thick trunk of an oak tree slams into her chest. She coughed and winced as she could feel the hot liquid of life passing her lips.

The worst part of this is that Inarie is experiencing excruciating pain in her back not just from the walls of stone that she bursted through. But rather from what that stream removed a chunk of her spinal cord at the middle. It was incredibly difficult to concentrate as her vision keeps blurring as the world was turning grey. What used to appear as red streams of blood now appears black to her eyes. Watching it drip like a faucet to the forest floor. In truth she was afraid that she was going to die here, but she finally came to terms with herself. I'm still… not enough to anyone here… Inarie thought to herself shortly before the blood loss consumed the last bit of her consciousness.

‘What’s happening?’ He tapped the message into the clam desperately after a few moments of silence. Chigetsu had given the order for the clam to stop her, but following that there was nothing except the swirling of water inside the clam’s insides. He could feel and noticed the attack streaming out, even if the opening the shell was so slight it was nearly imperceptible to him. The stream of water hadn’t been what he was expecting, but it did fall under the category of ‘Stop her!’ that Chigetsu asked of the clam. After a few moments of no response Chigetsu would slip out from the shell. Forward and forward, until he reached the end of the shell and was able to peek his head out through the end of the shell and assess the situation for himself.

What he saw was nothing. Just bloodstains and black dust. Just medical shinobi rushing into the arena and chasing after Inarie. The hole in the opposite side of the arena. It was a mess. Not at all what he expected to be seeing. He hadn’t thought it would get this far. Especially with how she had taken his bullets and deflected them with ease earlier. His orders to the clam had been open ended, but…

The clam summon would be released, and Chigetsu would drop down to the ground. He was the victor, again, but it would be in a moment of shock.
