Ryūketsu sighed as he stepped into the bedroom of his small apartment dressed in fresh clothes and bandages after taking a shower. He hung the clothes that he'd been wearing at the fishery up to dry on the line on his window, before simply tossing out the bandages he'd been wearing on the job. No point in trying to recycle them, really, the bandages that had been on his hands had simply been torn practically to shreds. He admired the way that the fabric drifted slightly in the wind, glad that the smell of the fishery was gone now as he tied up the trash bag filled with bandages. He loved that work - but the smell wasn't something he really enjoyed.

Soon enough, after his quick break to shower and eat something, Ryūketsu was out his door dumping his trash bag in the dumpster for his complex before racing off. He'd been up since nearly four in the morning, and it was nearly six thirty in the evening now, but there was one more task for the young over working genin to accomplish before the day was out.

And so, the teen headed to the market for the second time that day. He stopped by the Takoyaki dealer's stall on the way to the first shop that needed help, starting a small conversation with the man about how the catch had been for the business and how it had gone for him today. Their conversation wasn't long though, as he did have to get to the first store by seven, and he always made an effort to be early.

The first store was a rather small shop, of ... Ryūketsu really couldn't really decide what it was supposed to be. The shop floor was so cluttered with items of various different ilks, that really it just looked more like a garage sale than anything. Some of the items were interesting, and he would probably stop by in the future to really check out what it held. But, for now, he would greet the shopkeep, and get to cleaning the graffiti on the outside of the building.  Two hours later, he was headed to the next shop.

This shop was more of a sandwich than anything, and it made his stomach growl with how good the food certain customers were getting. Still, professionalism dictated what Ryūketsu would do - and he didn't even accept the shopkeep offering him a sandwich for his hardwork when he was done cleaning the graffiti of the sides of it's building three hours later. He just smiled behind his wrappings and told him he'd be back eventually to pay for one.

By the third shop, Ryūketsu's shoulders were screaming at him for the abuse that they'd been put through for the day, but he wasn't going to slow down. It was just one more shop and then he could go home and ice his screaming muscles. And so he quickly made it from the sandwich shop to a clothing shop that had requested the help of the lower ranking shinobi of the village. And the shop was large. Ryūketsu even found himself groaning inwardly when he saw how big the building was that needed cleaning.

But, of course, he couldn't  and wouldn't back out. The teen graciously accepted the cleaning supplies from the owner of the store and went out to work. It took nearly six hours this time to get the outside walls clean, but by the time Ryūketsu was finished they were spotless. Of course, by the time that he was finished the shop had long since closed - the owner leaving a key with him so that he could lock it and the supplies inside the shop when he was finished.

Exhausted, Ryūketsu did so and walked home to finally get some much needed rest after a very long day that had almost had him up twenty-four hours. Of course, would this stop him from doing similar days in the future? Not at all.
