Appearance: Chiaki is around the average height for a woman of her age, standing at 159 cm and weighs as a similarly average 46 kg. In terms of her physical appearance there is nothing exceptional. She has the stereotypical black hair that the Uchiha are known for, cut short to be approximately chin length. Her red eyes come from a genetic mutation in the Yūhi Clan, a lesser branch family of the Uchiha. The Yūhi’s red eyes are a weakened, passive version of the Sharingan with little if any benefits to the user, but their genetic similarity results in them being used as marriage stock for full blooded Uchiha at times. Unlike the majority of the Yūhi, Chiaki was discovered to actually have the capability of awakening the Sharingan while still having her family’s red eyes, something which resulted in her being elevated to the main branch and being accepted as an Uchiha.

History: Originally born as Chiaki Yūhi, Chiaki was born to the Yūhi Clan as a member of the lesser branch of the Uchiha. Her father was a Yūhi Clanmember who was half Uchiha by blood, and her mother was a civilian with no skills or history with the shinobi lifestyle. Under normal circumstances this would provide Chiaki with a simple life, and for the majority of her life it did. She was trained as a shinobi as it would have been normal for the Uchiha, but without the oppressive expectations that would have been placed on a member of one of Konoha’s greatest clans. She was able to pass the Konoha Academy’s graduation exam on her second try at the age of 13. Lacking the prestige to be assigned a team or sensei considering the village’s limited resources, Chiaki would become a free Genin in Konoha for the next several years. She would be sent on basic missions, mostly D-Rank and C-Rank jobs that had little if any sort of danger attached.
When her Sharingan was awakened her lifestyle would end up changing dramatically. Although only the first tomoe, it was something completely unexpected by the Uchiha Clan. As soon as it was reported to the clan elders and confirmed Chiaki was adopted wholesale into the main branch of the Uchiha Clan, and her training would intensify.
Personality: Chiaki is a kind and gentle soul, giving off an impression utterly different than the majority of her clansmen. Soft spoken and generally willing to be in the background, Chiaki isn’t the sort to thrust herself into situations or attempt to be the hero. Instead she’ll sit back and watch how things play out, staying on the sidelines or as a bystander unless necessary. To a certain extent she lacks self awareness though, reacting at times in an almost robotic or automatic manner.
