Satori had returned from the mission he had been sent on by his clan, though it had been approved by Kyoji as well, the S-Rank job hadn't been one that was terribly difficult. He had expected worse, though it wasn't as though it had been a walk in the park. An S-Rank missing ninja still wasn't to be trifled with. His hand still stung from their clash. At least, before he'd dissected the man's arm to the shoulder and drug his unconscious body back to the village.

The job had been long-term. Hounding a missing ninja across the country, and into others, returning nearly two years later was a pain. But he hadn't been strong enough to take the position from the shark-faced Mizukage at the time. A low hiss of air from the massive man's sigh passed between his teeth before his hand pushed the gate open, faced with the two guards that stiffened upon seeing the dirty man with wild hair.

He suddenly wanted a shower. Very badly. But reporting came first. He'd already heard there was a new Mizukage, but he hadn't been informed his mission was canceled, so he'd continued on. Crimson eyes shifted and focused on the nearest guard, the Jounin's own narrowed warily at the massive man bearing the symbol of the savage Ryuutei clan on his shoulder. Only a headband, no jacket to signify ranking, or status.

"Name and purpose here?" The question was wary, and it made sense. His face wasn't going to be recognized as a Genin from two years ago. Satori's clawed hand lifted, pushing the wild mane back as keen, intelligent eyes looked down and met the Jounin's own.

"Satori Ryuutei, head of the Ryuutei clan, reporting my mission completed. I've turned in the proof to the Police station so he can be further questioned." The words caused a pause, they had been informed Satori was coming, but simply hadn't recognized him. As well, the job had been to bring back the head of the Ninja. They hadn't expected him to be brought back alive. Satori's hand dropped as he straightened.

"I need to ask and see if a few deals me and the last Mizukage had are still on the table or not. Is she--it is a she, right?--busy?" The question caused the guards eye to twitch, but he understood the confusion, to a degree. Releasing a sigh he straightened.

"Welcome back from your successful mission. I'll have your success reported, and see if she has time for you today. If not I shall return with a date for you, Ryuutei-sa--sama," the words were stiff as the formal response of nobility was given. Viewed as savages or not, the Ryuutei was a powerful warrior clan for Kirigakure, and its head was to be treated with a basis of respect, regardless of ninja ranking, just like the other powerful clans.

Satori simply nodded, straightening slightly and leaning against the gates entrance. The large scroll hanging from his back as he glanced over the city. It looked like it was doing better than it had been before he left. The tensions with Kumogakure must have either reached a peak, or calmed while he'd been gone. His nose twitched as he caught the scent of the guard's chakra returning, and his gaze shifted toward the man as he appeared.

"She has a few moments for you." He stated simply, causing the large young man to nod his head once, before grunting and hauling himself up. Moving toward the building, and making his way up toward the relatively familiar office. The layout had changed a bit since the last time he'd been there. Renovations maybe? Shrugging, his hand lifted, rapping thrice against the door before placing his hands back, clasped behind his back as he awaited admittance from his kage.

    Appearance:

The man managed to path find his way to the Mizukage's correct office. The village has certainly changed in Satori's absence, though village was an old term. Commonly referred to as a city, Kirigakure was actually a Metropolis. And along with the modernization there were infrastructure changes. The old Mizukage Complex was completely redone into a skyscraper with fifty-two floors. Every window was the same from the outside, heavily tinted to prevent any onlooker from locating any POIs. Along with this, there was a protocol where the Mizukage changed offices weekly. The desks, paperwork, office supplies, and everything would be assigned a random room on a random floor to prevent any vulnerabilities. At last, the heavy security in general prevented anybody from accessing the elevators from the lobby unless they themselves were staff or had an appointment.

Hana stared outside the window with her chair turned away from her desk work at the moment. There was a lot to deal with. Mostly things regarding the deal she had set up with Nariko. Hana didn't expect Kumogakure to send their own ninja to enforce this agreement every step of the way. It was a bit irritating, though Hana tried to be empathetic. It was easy to feel antagonized when Hana pulled all the stops to redeem Kirigakure's image. She did not stand for Kirigakure's past behavior, but reputation didn't work like that. Ken's decimation of Demons, Kirigakure's obscure decision to assassination Satomi, and its numerous bad deeds did add up. It seemed Tatsu's attempted bombing and Shimiko's incessant negotiations were a lot lighter sentence than outright destructive retaliation from both nations.

Though she felt Tatsu's fate was a good representation of Kirigakure's standpoint on its past behavior. Hana was certainly apologetic and tried everything in her power to right several wrongs, but by no means was Kirigakure a pushover. Any irrational act against the city would be met with an abrupt, yet clean ending. Passion is not weakness. Gazing at the hazy gray sunset she mentally recapped on her interaction with the Kumogakure ambassadors. The set of knocks on the door caught her attention causing her to swivel back so she was facing her desk and the front door to the office. "Come in." She announced, grabbing a crumbled up burger wrapper from the top of her desk and tossing it into a miniature trash bin at the foot of her desk. Hiramekarei, which rested against her desk on her side was positioned correctly so it was balanced and not threatening to fall on its side. The few times the sword did fall it caused her guards to swarm in the office. It was a heavy blade requiring impressive strength to wield effectively. Although it was fairly light to her she had to remember what she had in her possession.

The call for him to enter caused a single rumble of response as the large young man pushed the door open. Ducking his head slightly as he stepped inside, the large Ryuutei's crimson eyes examined the interior of the room briefly. Definitely different from when Kyoji had been inside this room. Scratching the back of his head briefly, shaggy black locks falling behind his back he focused his attention on the new Mizukage. "Hana Kaguya" if he recalled the name that he'd seen while he'd been away on the mission.

"Satori Ryuutei, Head of the Ryuutei Clan and Chunin, Reporting the mission Kyoji sent me on completed," he stated calmly before tucking his hands into his pockets as he glanced the young woman over quietly. She looked strong at least. Kyoji hadn't given him that feeling when they'd met, the man looked like he hadn't even wanted the position when they'd met previously. A slow breath passed between his fangs as his head tilted to the side, taking in the room, exits, body language, facial expression, clothing and weaponry quickly.

The keen intellect in the lion of a man's eyes relaxed after he'd assessed that things seemed fine, and she seemed competent enough at a glance. Clearing his throat he inclined his head slightly, bowing his head to show his respect before straightening.

"I had a few questions for you, Lady Mizukage, since Kyoji and I had several deals and ranks that were being tossed around before I left, but only a few things got solidified since he... left? Got removed? Whatever it was, while I was away." He glanced at the door, making it clear he didn't know specifics just yet. He'd been away after all.
