Appearance:

Standing at six feet even, Nyguyen Uchiha is a middle aged black man of average weight. The man is relatively buff as even after his retirement from the world of shinobi he maintained a vigorous training regimen. He sports rippling biceps, chiseled abs, and all of the physical essentials necessary for military competence. He is rather handsome and sports a bit of well-groomed facial hair. Nyguyen's hair is a bit outgrown, the afro-textured curls have been permitted room to express themselves thus forming the beginnings of an afro. One of his most striking features is the lines under his eyes. They are a product of his chronic insomnia and tendency to overwork himself for the sake of others.

History:

Nyguyen Uchiha was born the eldest of three siblings. One of whom would go on to be the wife of the late Hokage and Clan Leader Satomi Uchiha. Nyguyen's early life as a shinobi was rather unremarkable and standard. He was a rather accomplished ninja but nothing particularly special. He enjoyed history and strategy, preferring books to violence. Unfortunately, the challenges of the ninja world had forced him into a profession of killing. He had done it for the sake of his kin and he had done it well. Once things had began to settle down, he allowed himself to retire. He more or less functioned as a stay at home dad to his two children. In his spare time, he wrote a variety of sociology essays and historical pieces. To this day, Nyguyen teaches a variety of courses on Uchiha Clan history. He would later adopt a young Uchiha girl and raise her to be the shield that guards his kin. Having seen what the lack of proper protection had done to his brother-in-law, Nyguyen had vowed to raise her to be a dutiful and serious woman. A protector of the more prominent households within the Clan. It was only when his own children were older that he permitted her to pursue her own career and by then she'd have all the proper tools to defend herself and her comrades. Inspired by Yui Uchiha's growth and growing weary of his tween daughters' eccentric interests, Nyguyen decided to step out of retirement. Fighting wasn't necessarily his thing but given the madness of the Tatsu regime, the Society's decision to plunder Konoha, and the general economic/social malaise plaguing the country he decided that it was time to put the nation's interests above his own.

Also, his kid's teasing were beginning to hurt his feelings.  


Personality:

Nyguyen Uchiha is a stern man but not out of a natural desire. He exudes a serious and no-nonsense demeanor. It was the product of growing up in a relatively prominent and respected Uchiha household. He had learned to stifle his emotions and act with cold, unfeeling logic. He valued discipline, self-sacrifice, and understanding of one's place in the grander scheme of things. It was these values who had attempted to instill in his children and in his ward. Yui took to them but his daughters not so much. Underneath Nyguyen's seemingly uber-professional personality, is the heart of a loveable goof. While he maintains and applies strict discipline to his subordinates, he has a soft spot for those he regards as his true family. He is a scholar at heart: enjoying politics, law, history, and sociology. He is pretty distrustful of the ninja world writ large and this extends to other non-Uchiha Clans within his own country. Nyguyen tends to prioritize his clan although he does recognize that the unity of the Noble Konoha Clans is critical to the Uchiha's survival. To that end, he works to defend and prop up the community project that is Konohagakure no Sato.
