It wouldn't be long until Ei's journey into Kirigakure would be complete. The boat they had took, civilian owned, would drop Ei and Azuma off on the Land of Water's Hozuki Island, navigating through the mist until it was finally able to find the closest port. Their journey then to Kirigakure would be on foot the rest of the way, traveling to the village's known location. It would be only a matter of time until they would reach the gates. Their status as Suna shinobi, or at least Ei's, would be unmarked, and she would present herself at the gates as any other normal civilian who had come to watch the ongoing Chunin Exams. A convenient excuse, although if she did want to watch it would unfortunately be likely that only the later and final rounds would be available to her.
The guards would pass her through after a quick check. As Ei had no real shinobi gear that would distinguish her as a shinobi there was little to give away her guise, and she would be passed through. The rest of her mission would be a matter of finding someone of importance to make contact with.

Rei, was a tough person to deal with. Her husband, her son, her blood relatives and even the man she called her own brother would tell you that. She was both simple, and complicated. The boat was manned by only a few of Kirigakure's shinobi. A wooden puppet stood at the wheel, propped up by sticks and a chair for him to rest upon. A man in a black leaned over the side of the boat, his mask lifted as he begin to vomit in the water.
"Seirei... please... no more rocking the boat." The man pleaded, but still, the men on the deck obeyed the woman. Running from one side, to the other. They were tired, but still she stood, her sword in hand pointed over her crew as one leg was propped on a barrel.
"OI, HOLD IT!" She leaned forward. "THAR BE SOMEFIN' OVER DA HORIZON!" She lifted her sword, just before the captain.
". . ."
"AYE AYE. APPROACH THE SHIP!" She would command. She may have been the captain's first mate, but on this ship, she was god.
The woman in question? Akeruseirei, jonin of Kirigakure. Holder of the Executioner's blade. her white haired pulled back by the black silk bandana, and held in place with the forehead protector that lay on top of her head. A black shirt covered her skin, with white bandages wrapped around her chest. The top half of the buttons left free, allowing the breeze to shake the fabric. Gloves remained on her hands, as her protective gear covered her arms. Black pants were rolled up just under her knees, with white bandages holding it in place. Her feet bare as they rested upon the barrel, something only filled with straw and seed.
When approaching, and when in range, she would preform the seal, creating a thick fog over their boat and her own. She would hold the radio in her hand, only to pause and place it back on her belt. The black harness empty from the sword that was in her hand.
"OI, WHAT BUSINESS DO YE HAVE IN THE HIDDEN MIST?"

They themselves give a +1 advantages on strikes, but without them, suffers a -1 disadvantage on strikes with its hands. Defenses: The metal gloves also act as a sort of armor, but only for the hands. Stats: - Strength: C - Constitution: C General Description: A very simple plainly made puppet. It is unrefined and very stout for a puppet. It stands alone at 4 feet tall. the hands however are intricate, and much more detailed than the rest of the puppet. Ojin was created as a part of a set of puppets who were all given detailed hands. Their purpose simply to play music. Akeru, having taken the puppet away from its original collection had made a few modifications to it. Mainly painting it in a dull gray color, and often dressing it in simple clothing to allow it to appear more normal. However the difficulties of the large chest still exist. rings have been embedded and attached to the forearms to allow easy storage of the gloves when the puppet is used to play an intrument. Description: The user conjures a thick, white mist which reduces visibility to absolute zero. This can be achieved by using a water source such as a lake, reservoir, or being in a damp environment. If no sources are present the user can still produce a mist by expelling it from their mouth.
Drawbacks: Just like real life fog the mist can only exist in conditions where it can survive. Very hot, arid climates forces the mist to evaporate (clearing up over two rotations.) In addition the mist can be cleared by strong winds or sudden bursts.

Waves would rock the ship from side to side, the sound of the water as it pushed into the hull of their boat causing the wood to creak. The sound of the wind tugging at the sails and the large main mast slowly swaying under its on weight and height, but held strong by ropes strewn from hull to the large beam the sails hung from, controlling its direction while also keeping it all steady with the numerous ropes used as rigging for the boat. A mismatched gaze, hue of white and one of amber, peered out from the bow of their boat, a man standing in silence with a stoic expression as he kept his sharp eyes open for anything on the horizon. His eyes narrowed a little, a fairly serious look as he could spot a ship in the distance. As he continued to watch it, it seemed to come closer and closer. It seemed the two vessels was on a interception course.
Azuma took a solid leap back from the bow and would land more towards the middle of the boat, likely around where Ei was, somewhere close enough to keep her protected should anything pop off, and allow them to speak to each other without having to shout. "We have company..." he'd say in his deep smooth tone he was known for, him keeping his gaze out towards the ship--it slowly getting larger and larger as it came closer. He'd activate his sensing technique, but it was limited to only his boat.
Once within the range of 125 meters, the visibility would suddenly drop--a thick mist would blanket the ships. Azuma stood silently, the man still having the entire arsenal of equipment, his outfit made of silverweed, for the most part hiding the arm and leg guards under the baggy Kimono sleeves and Hakama. His sword laid flat across the small of his back, sheath firmly held along with his duel hip pouches. The misty breeze pushed the man's dark locks into a gentle sway as he awaited what would happen next, the man planning to let Ei do the talking, his role in this being to keep her safe during this trek into a foreign nation.

If any of the ninja on the Suna boat had searched the water they would have sensed the ninja whom had been holding onto the Kiri boat to make up for lack of physical strength and stamina. Being not on the boat itself she would come in unnoticed and thanks to the calm water that day Jess the Orphan would detach from the ship when her sensei activated the technique and reached the other ship before Rei spoke.
Instead the Suna ninja would be hailed by Rei as a body would climb onto the side of their ship's railing. Using a medical Jutsu the pale genin who had recently dyed her hair black and had her pirate bandana off nine foot long arms would angle their way to the railing much like spider's legs allowing long black hair to follow crawling onto the boat in a jerky manner thanks to her limbs all being extended to their maximum with this technique.
Wearing a black button up overcoat the frilly white blouse underneath was completely soaked through. Her leather boots dripped slime and bile while the rest of her body brought with it gallons of water stuck in the many pockets of the overcoat as well as the trip pants she refused to change out of when her sensei told her about operation pirate dress up party.
Jess would try to speak but having gotten water in her throat and thus only made a low noise like someone trying to suck in air much akin to a certain movie. Who were these ninja? Where had they come from? Where were they going to? All this Jess wanted to ask but instead was now puking out the black bile of the bay onto the wooden planks of the visitors craft.
All in all the chemist would say that it was a good first impression. She was looking forward to speaking with these visitors when she could.

Company indeed. No sooner did they pull into the Land of Water and approach Kirigakure’s ports did they have their ship stopped. Perhaps it should have been expected that this would be the case. Current tensions between Kirigakure no Sato and Kumogakure no Sato would inevitably make Kirigakure more tense about their naval situation. Controlling who came in and out of the village was important, doubtlessly so. But they had taken a civilian vessel specifically as a way to avoid these problems, hopefully getting into the Land of Water without issues. It seemed that they wouldn’t be so lucky, but the reason in which they were stopped would surely have to be an interesting one. They were simply on a civilian boat with no outward signs that they were shinobi. At least, not unless there were sensors among those on the opposing ship. Or unless information about their travels had leaked somehow…
At least, that was what Ei would have said until Azuma leaped from one end of the boat to the other, a clear sign that he was a shinobi of some sort. She sighed. Oh well. That plan, of feigning innocence, would have to be discarded.
“We do.” She would respond, keeping her eyes on the other boat as they were stopped. The visibility dropping was all within predictable behavior as well. This was what Kirigakure was famous for.
The girl who had climbed aboard their ship, coming out from the sea in some disgusting fashion contorting and twisting her body wildly, would be given a slight glance before Ei averted her eyes. Disgusting and unaesthetic. She was familiar with the jutsu being used here, but it was one that she took no pleasure in seeing or using. Especially as the disgusting monster girl turned to begin puking all over their ship.
“What a warm welcome.” She would let out, whispers gracing out from her lips to only Azuma’s ears. She trusted him to not let the disgusting one get too close. Ei would never forgive Azuma if some of that vomit found its way to her silk outfit.
“It’s the middle of the Chunin Exams, is it not? Is it not typical for visitors to come into the village around these times?” The question would be responded to with another.
“We’ve come to watch the Chunin Exams, along with other business with the village of Kirigakure no Sato. Perhaps we are a little late, due to travel complications, but surely there’s no reason for such suspicion as to stop our boat.” They had orders to make contact with the village for an alliance and trade deal, but also to gather as much information about it as they could. All information. Any information. Be cautious and inquisitive.
...Still, this woman had one of the famous Seven Swords. She was surely a top official of some sorts. Perhaps she would be a valid target, clearly a shinobi. Still, this presented interesting possibilities. Was there an information leak or was this just a coincidence?
“Why not come aboard? You must be… Judging from that sword, you must be one of Kirigakure’s legendary Seven Swordsmen…” Ei would give a slight bow towards Akeruseirei, showing what reverence that she could. “It’s a great honor to be in your presence. There’s plenty I’m sure we could discuss. I'd offer a discussion over tea, but unfortunately our ship lacks the adequate supplies to make a proper meeting place to accommodate one of your rank.”

Needless to say, for Rei, it was all a way to relax and de-stress. To let loose and be a fool without anyone really around to care. It was something to give her peace of mind with all that had happened. From desperately hoping her son wouldn't be a total fuck up in the exams, adopting her niece, and contemplating murder on her own husband, she needed a moment. She needed this, more than anything in the world. She figured it was just going to be another normal fisherman, people she had known for years. A passing joke that was kept between her and the many civilians of the village. But instead, it seemed she had actually ran into some paperwork.
"Oi, I asked What bussine- Ah fuck it." She stood on the edge of the ship as it neared to the side of the other, both of them lined side by side, the one the white haired woman stood on, of a much larger variety. The one they seemed to try to enter on, a fishing boat, a man she had seen around, but had not yet learned his name. With a nod, and a sigh, she looked over the two, the mist immediately fading away.
"Ye exams be wrappin' up. Yer students shall ret'rn home 'en safely." She smiled, her foot finding no comfortable place to rest as she tried to keep her guise up. She looked over at the man, someone who nervously stood in the middle of the ship. Steve? Santos? Silas?
"Saul, are these-"
"It's actually Solomon, Miss."
"Yeah whatever. They aren't holding you hostage, right?"
"No ma'am."
She nodded, pleased in her answer, rested the large blade upon her shoulder, the blunt end placed against her neck. She looked over the people, the girl strange, and the man tall. They seemed simple enough.
"OI, CAP'N." The woman made a half turn as she looked over to the puppet behind the wheel. "WHAT SAY YOU DO 'BOUT THEM VISITA'S?"

"WELL, I SUPPOSE YOU COUL' CHECK YA SELF." The men on the boat would look over at Rei, half of them groaned, the rest simply went back to resting, all of them mostly at ease. She pulled her left hand, and with it, the figure sprung up, flying over her, and landing, his speed lessened as the puppet would find his way upon the ship. His feet dangling just above the ground. The puppet's head would turn, the large floppy head moving with the wind as it would inspect, or at least pretend to, the people. After a moment, he would turn around, and the puppet would wave to it's master.
"Well then, it seem ye can hop aboard our ship then and leave ol' poor Solomon back to his duties, aye?" With a nod, the men would throw over a large plank, textured, between both ships. Each piece themselves only about a few feet wide. With several of them together, it would be a heavy entry to safely pass, the texture preventing any slip ups. The men held onto them to ensure no one would fall.
"C'mon Second Mate Jess, we have to take th'se visit'as inside." She would say. After all, the exams were wrapping up. They were most likely sent here as an escort to ensure the students, or well, possible chunin made it back home safely.
Though, she began to wonder. How many Sunagakure students had been in the exams to begin with?

Description: The Chakra Strings Technique allows the user to focus and manipulate their chakra into fine tuned strings that can be used to manipulate objects. Once attached, chakra strings can be used to manipulate any object in accordance to the user's Coordination stat. Obviously the user's ability to successfully manipulate an heavy object will depend on their Strength stat. This generally applies only to objects as opposed to people and puppets which are considered to complex to manipulate via strings alone and thus require a secondary technique for utilization. Chakra strings can be temporarily suppressed to minute stubs on a puppeteers fingers when not in active use (although an upkeep must be paid lest the want to repay the activation cost).
Drawbacks: The strings can be cut by any chakra based or enfused weapon or technique C Rank or greater. Cut strings must be re-activated by the user.

The young Jounin could sense every living soul between both boats, able to tell only two on board would be shinobi judging by their chakra levels. One in particular had exited the other boat, and made their way to the boat Azuma and Ei stood upon. He'd keep track of this one while watching the older woman through the mist as the larger vessel pulled up along side of them. He didn't respond to Ei's comments, but did hear them. It'd seem the one he was tracking with his sensory made it to their boat, and now was making their way up the side. Azuma took a step forward and to the side, somewhat staggered with Ei now, in position to protect her if anything happened.
This is when Jess crawled up over the boat's railing, a gross contorted mess, vomitting pure bile onto their ship deck. It was gross...he'd keep this one in mind, but as Ei and Akeru begun speaking, he'd focus on that. Azuma wasn't here to talk, it wasn't his role. He was here to keep Ei safe in this foreign nation...even Kage usually traveled with guards, why shouldn't Ei as a representive of Sunagakure? He'd keep his guard up, weary of them--especially the one who'd already made their way onto the boat uninvited--but keeping his eyes on the woman wielding a legendary blade...Azuma would recognize her once the mist had been cleared.

The Desert Rogue would keep by Ei, letting her do the talking and decisions...even with the invite to come aboard and wood span between the boats to make it easier, he'd await to see if Ei would go--if she would, he'd follow.

Jess had hoped to just spook a fisherman, but it looked like the chemist and her sensei had scooped up a catch of another sort. This would no doubt be important business but why would one come hidden upon a sloop when the Chuunin exams were going on?
They could have easily came in a more official manner and be welcomed without suspicion. As it was now Jess would remember this feeling when she later filed a report about this for the higher ups. The goofiness was a farce after all brought about by her recognition of the recent past. Her life unraveling and being re-threaded had sharpened her mind and honed it into a weapon as well as teaching her to enjoy life more. Now she came out stronger and forged through the flames of despair resulting in the eyes of Jess to retain her joyful demeanor despite her suspicions.

Ei would sigh. While perhaps there was the possibility that they had been taking the captain of this ship hostage, that would have been a rather heavy handed method of gaining access to the village. The fact that this woman knew him by name only made it more difficult. It seemed that Kirigakure was closely connected in ways that Ei would not have expected. That, or this strange woman got out a lot that she just so happened to know the captain of this ship. Well enough to almost know his name, at least.
It seemed that it would go back to business as usual after that, with the strange woman screaming again wildly about pirate things. It seemed that the captain was a puppet, one that was being controlled by the strange woman. Very odd.

Truth be told, Rei didn't know why they had really came, but nor did she care. There was plenty of reason for them to easily walk into the village. But if they were not here for the student, then perhaps it was something for her to keep an eye on. She couldn't have had any idea of what they came for, or the fact that it aligned perfectly with what she had told the kage she was going to do anyways. But that was for later, for now, she was Pirate Rei.
"Aye aye, we'll be takin' yee into the village den." The puppet leaped once more, taking his returned seat behind the wheel. Truth was, they weren't really far from the village. Rei can Jess had barely been on the waters for an hour. But by the time they got back, the both of them were more than likely to be seasick, or at least, sick of the boat.
When they would embark, it would but just under half an hour to return, enough for a short conversation if they wanted to say anything before they docked.

Seemingly, they had some odd connection to the fisherman who'd brought the duo here, the Kiri crew even asking the man known as 'Solomon' how he'd been and such...Such a foreign name. It wasn't too long after that the one who'd invaded their small boat--who mas being nice enough to clean up the mess of gross bile they'd puked out onto the man's boat's deck--now would be making themselves more serious...well...until they began with more pirate talk.
Azuma wasn't amused.
He'd look back towards Ei, seeing the dark haired beauty look back at him, their eyes meeting for a moment. He'd go ahead and step closer to her, a silent way to say he was there in case the Kiri Jounin turned out to be as insane as she somewhat seemed. Once Ei had turned away and accepted the invite on board, he'd follow suite--right behind her, the man at the ready, but looking relaxed as he stepped behind the shorter woman he harbored feelings for onto the boat, keeping close to her as his eyes shifted back to Akeruseirei--and her puppet who piloted the boat, now at its position behind the wheel.
The group would embark back towards Kirigakure, only a half hour ride. Along the way, Azuma would speak up, keeping in line with what Ei had said. "I do hope we haven't missed too much of the Chuunin exams." he'd say, voice deep but smooth, no rasp to it. Words clear as day and blue waters.

Jess had no idea who Solomon was but at least he played along. The Suna nin were most delightful and the one known as Ei seemed to look at her with what Jess took as inspiration from her wonderful performance as a pioneering pirate poof. This made Jess most pleased, most pleased indeed. The other one, the rather tall fellow, would use an honorific suitable for a peer. At this Jess was glad there was not a way to determine one's rank outright and the genin could continue to pass for a more competent ninja though she was of course still soaked from the water.
They had both seemed to be enamored with her antics, Jess was over the moon with excitement.
Luckily her perception hid the truth from her insightful mind.

Despite the silliness with the pirate nonsense, it didn’t seem like they were inherently as unstable as it might have seemed at first. Despite how unamusing it was, to come in and demand seriousness and respect while being strange foreigners would be a faux paus she wasn’t interested in making. Still, she would remain unamused by the nonsense, although tolerant of it for now. Azuma’s presence beside her was like a rock that she could remain tethered to. Despite all the bile puking and the stretchy limbs and the pirate talk, as long as he was here and equally as unamused she could at least know that she wasn’t going completely insane.
The flaw in her initial excuse was picked apart by Jess, which did switch her into being at least somewhat amused. The cheery tone that she adopted while saying it was something that Ei could easily pick up on. The fact that this girl recognized them both by name, despite neither introducing themselves, showed that she was at least smarter than she looked. Wisemen playing the fool was something as old as time, even if not something Ei would do herself. It let her put their actions in a bit of a better context.

Although I would prefer if the specifics were discussed in perhaps a more suitable location, I can assure you it’s entirely diplomatic in nature. As such it’d be preferable if we could obtain the time of the Mizukage, or someone who would be able to speak on her behalf.”
“Of course, after the Chunin Exams finish would be ideal, but if we were so late as to have missed the bulk of them then I suppose that would be our loss. Perhaps at least we’ll be able to take note of the victor.”

"Then, let us get inside, I know just the place." With a smile, she would lead them to her own personal warehouse. All of the eyes and ears within belonged to herself. As they neared the gates, she would continue. "Well, then I will speak on behalf of our Mizukage. It must have been a coincidence then. I had begun my preparations to travel to Sunagakure for a diplomatic detail." She would look back with a smile, "Hope then, that both of their interests align." A half lie. Hana had given the woman to travel to the Hidden Sand for her own personal matters. Perhaps not one to establish a network of trade, one that directly benefited the woman.
As they made their way into the village, one party escorting the other, it wasn't long until a hooded figure approached them. His strange cat mask and the large painted smile that stretched from ear to ear. A cheshire smile with pointed teeth, one that was worn by a quiet man who approached them. As he did so, bowed to the woman. He may have been weird and strange, but with even the slightest of her steps, could tell the position he needed to play with a gaze.
"Miss White Lotus," The man said with a bow, and a half kneel before rising up to keep pace. He walked backwards, his face trained on the others while his eyes watched his sibling. "The Meeting Place has been prepared." Something that sounded as if she had told him everything, or that he was aware. In truth, he was the one tasked with locking up the warehouse every night. This duty extending to cleaning up and organizing. Something he enjoyed doing. Telling the woman it was prepared, was no different then telling her that they had closed for the day, and no one was there. But of course, with the people around, he was sure to put on a bit of a show.
"Thank you, K." she would reply. "Please, if you can, have C meet us there. Have her brew our tea." She would lean in, obviously hinting at something in secret, a code to the man.
"Wait what? We only have one more case and it's expensive." A code, that had gone completely over his head. ". . . Are you sure they're worth it?"
A sigh from the woman, before she simply answered, "Yes. I don't want to use my cheap shit." And the man would run off, leaving the four of them, back to each other's vices.

Kyoji appeared from the mist. It usually covered the area obscuring the village from prying eyes. Fully garbed in his monster armor and rebreather from his last battle. It was obvious to anyone to who were to lay eyes on him. One of the most famous ninja I'm the world. The Blue Emperor. He spotted a Kiri Jounin accompanying some ninja. Looking closely he could see that they were Sand Ninja. Interesting. Suna is now becoming more involved it seems. But he wasn't here for that. He needed to see the current Mizukage.

The discussion that has occurred between the Suna ninja and Kirigakure's own did not interest the stationed guards stationed at the gates and walls. They had their tasks, and seeing as the situation was well under control they didn't drive much of their focus to it. But what did catch their attention was the a newcomer. Was this a possible setup? Were the sand ninja distracting the two Kirigakure ninja to ambush them? Or was this just another newcomer? A few of the gate sentinels kept watch as the silhouette slowly came into light. It was Kyoji. The guard in the security window exited the booth.
"Kyoji...you've returned? What happened? Did h- you just vanished and have been gone for months now?"
The guard's reaction caught the attention of a couple others on the wall. Without hesitation they began to radio in the Mizukage to inform Hana of Kyoji's presence.

It was a surprise to see that Hana had done away with the Eastern entrance. He wa actually glad that she did. There was much dark history in front of those gates. He remembered his battle with the powerful Inazuma boy. Who had walked circles around them before Hana finally restrained him. He ignored those memories. For there was immediately company that came to greet him. He wasn't making his full comeback quite just yet. He was there to return tools needed for the Kiri army.
This was still his home, sworn to protection of the village when he took the mantle of Mizukage. A guard came out and spoke to to him. They were audibly surprised, asking what had happened to him. Kyoji could only afford to tell the outside picture at the moment. "I've returned with news. I am alive. The last great battle at the Eastern Gates took me into a foreign land. Teleported by the enemy jutsu. I defeated one enemy but I was greatly incapacitated afterwards. I was only now able to return. But I have returned to give what was missing to us."
Kyoji walked towards the guard till he was a few feet away. Then he pulled the real Kurosawa blade out and gave it to the guard. Kyo would do the same with the real Kiba Blades as well. A strange turn of events. While she juggled one matter, it seemed her mission had unfolded right in front of her. She held up her hands, halting Jess and the others. "Please, it will be just a moment." She would say with a smile and a bow before nodding to her puppet, the both of them walking away, although, one of them seemed to lightly hover just inches above the ground. Rei would quickly make her way to the entrance, beside the guard. As he called it in, her former Mizukage showed his face, or at least, what she presumed so.
With a nod, she would nonverbally instruct to the guard that it was her duty. As the man handed over the blades, she took them in her own grasp, the Kurosawa in her hands, while her puppet held onto each half of the Kiba swords. "Don't be long, Kyoji. ...Trading cards? Warehouse fire? At this point, Azuma wrote Jess off as simply insane, speaking pure nonsense. Although she was able to tell exactly who both the Jounin was, by name, so it did seem they had some information on the Suna Duo. Azuma continued to stay by Ei's side as she began to level with Akeruseirei and Jess, giving details as to the real reason they was there, sent by the Kazekage, a mission of diplomacy, although not going into details due to their location. Still though, the idea of seeing the finals of the exams was on the table...honestly Azuma wouldn't have minded seeing that. Even if the exams could be a rough thing for either Azuma or Ei to watch, seeing as what the two had went through in their own exams years past.
Azuma though, as the group would move from the harbor to the gates, noticed something. The man still kept his sensory up, as he always would in these situations, and before they made it to the gates themselves, he'd sense two more chakra signatures--which would soon be three, one of them split in half, easily guessed to be a shadow clone as they had the same chakra signature, but now half the chakra....he grew weary as two of them disappeared, leaving only a clone in his sensory range, before even it was out of his range as they got closer to the gates.
As the group neared the gates, he'd once more feel a chakra signature behind them...Akeruseirei would notice the guards they'd come to meet at the gates getting their panties in a bunch over someone else. She'd even request a moment, Azuma watching the woman as she walked back towards the gates. He could see it, the clone he'd felt earlier...and instantly Recognize the man as Kyoji--former Mizukage. The clone had two swords, well, three--but two of them was a set. The famed Kurosawa of Iron, and Kiba blades of Mist...as a swordsman and rather smart cookie, he instantly recognized the famous swords. He'd watch as Akeru would accept them from the clones...taking note she now had two of the seven blades of the mist, as well as the icon of Iron. Many blades of fame, he'd see today it seemed.
The clone disappeared, proving his theory. He'd sigh, turning back to look at Ei, before Akeruseirei showed back up. Rei would take lead again, Azuma giving a light chuckle to her mention of turning their day into a week with all these distractions. But it was subtle, likely only heard by Ei and neither of the Mist shinobi. Ei had revealed their reasons for being there, and they had a Mission to uphold, these distractions indeed was slowing their progress.

Jess was uncertain why she was there at that point, she had not been paid let alone endorsed to speak on Kiri's behalf so instead she threw up a peace sign. “Sorry everyone but I’m just some useless genin, I cant serve as the village ambassador but I do hope you guys have fun with that or whatever"

Sure she could have stayed but she wasn’t doing so with official jurisdiction and would probably just be in trouble. Besides did she want to with a village as this? Instead what was here was horribly memories and once she got approval she saw how incredibly easy it was to make money. It was corrupt. There may not be official crime but it was just dictated by who you knew over merit of skill. Which to her was rather absurd, Jess wished for a place where nepotistic reach had not rotted the foundations of something but it was becoming more apparent that trying to forge a future here would be worthless. Forging her own destiny was what was always going to inevitably occur,

Interesting. She would take a mental note. There were now three artifacts of note on Akeruseirei’s person. Kyoji, who had apparently been a clone, would disappear shortly afterwards.
Akeruseirei would wave their attention away after that, herding them like sheep. It didn’t matter though. They had seen everything they needed to right now. Nothing more was necessary to peep on, especially as this had all transpired right in front of their noses.

Everything seemed to work out in the end. Her day had felt endless, yet she had been able to kill two birds with a single stone, or well, in this case, several birds. Still, given that it had happened far sooner than she had planned, she wasn't prepared yet. For now, she would escort the few people she had taken into the village.
With a few words from Jess, Rei frowned, but couldn't spend any more time dealing with anything other than the guests. She had her own agenda to follow, as well as Hana's orders. Soon, she would set the stage for her first act, and the world would follow suit.

After leaving the hospital zenaku gathered up his stuff and headed off for the village gates, his hopes that they would let him leave with out a escort but maybe they could lend him one so that he could leave the village hidden in the mist. With his damage still effecting him he was not able to move about at his top speed but even tho he was being slow he managed to reach the bordering gate of the village. He walked up to the gate and showed his passport. " Oh your that uchiha boy who fought in the finals of the exam ha, im sorry to have seen you lost in those fights but you sure made them entertaining." The guy looked down at his passport but he seemed to look disappointing. " Im sorry to say but your still a genin so i can not allow you to leave with out a ninja of chunin or jonin to escort you." Well now this was gonna place a damper on him leaving, maybe if he stayed here then a ninja would come and help him get back to his village. " Oh wait a minute i was wrong, it seems i have a letter here from the hidden leaf allowing you to return home, but try to be safe wont ya."
Zenaku was surprised so with a nod he walked out of the village and headed home."

It was time to head home. Nariko was very impressed with Kumogakure's showings in the exams, with one of her own (and an unlikely one at that) having made it to the final 3 of the exams. One of the champions, interestingly enough. However, Nariko was a little more concerned with some other information. She'd received word that Ryuko had awakened, and that Natsuru had returned to Kumogakure.
The exams were over, and her students were roused. Nariko was more than happy to return from the temporary exile, all thoughts of the potential issues she may walk into with the Jashinists gone from her mind. Just being back around her 'family' would be enough for her to be happy. And with Ryuko and Natsuru around, Shimiko might be more likely to be talked out of any harsh Jashinist coups.
Leaving Kirigakure, Nariko would head to her flagship, which was also being boarded up by the remaining Kumo contestants and stragglers that had stayed in the area. It was time to go home.
