Sabaku no Akuto ('The Desert Rogue')
A name earned during the four years after the plague that wiped out most of Sunagakure, and left the village abandoned. Years spent wandering the deserts of Kaze no Kuni, the Plains of Land of Rivers, the Forests of Land of Fire, and many other countries over these years, protecting those he can, escorting caravans, watching over small villages.
Sabaku no Arashi ('Storm of the Desert')
During a rather difficult mission involving escorting a caravan, he faced off against a Bandit Gang leader, taking on him and his goons in a very close and intense fight. After calling upon the power of a storm to aid him in his battle, the Gang Leader dubbed Azuma 'Sabaku no Arashi', and the caravan the man was protecting chanted for their protector's success. After defeating his foe word spread of what he did, and 'Sabaku no Arashi' became a known title for the man.

Description: Sabaku no Kaminari is a Chokuto, a 32 inch straight edge blade with a boxy angled tip, single edge running down the length of the blade. It's handle is made of a light blonde wood sandwiched over the full tang of the blade, matched perfectly with its scabbard. The blade is made from an Okane Tomi special, Midnight Ore, crafted to perfection, taking its signature star-filled night sky appearance, dark with spots and dots of 'light' almost spread along the blade's length. The Kanji for 'Thunder' (雷) is etched into the Habaki (Collar) of the Chokuto, on the opposite side about the same size, an intricate Stag Head insignia, mark of The Stag Emporium. It lacks a Tsuba (Hand Guard), and has a somewhat unconventional wooden handle, but is surprisingly comfortable, and may be wrapped in cloth or leather for extra comfort without sacrificing control. When mated with the scabbard, the blade simply looks like a wide and flat cane or board to the less perceptive, only a thin barely noticeable line separating the blade from its holder to tell the lethal potential hidden inside. Hidden in the handle, flawlessly integrated, is a spindle with 300 feet of Ebony wire wrapped around it, available for various uses, limited by only the user's imagination.

--Raiton Warrior Pt.1 | Human Lightning Rod
Azuma has a natural affinity for Lightning, having used only it growing up. He has a fascination with it, and a deep understanding of both chakra based Lightning, as well as the real deal. Azuma has learned to harness and bend Natural Lightning to his will, able to summon a bolt from a thundercloud to his hand and take in its properties for a short time. This results in a +1 tier to the power of Azuma's Lightning based jutsu for 5 rounds, amping his jutsu using the lightning, although this lowers the power of his non-elemental jutsu when active. This comes at the cost of situation, requiring the presence of thunder clouds or storms in the area to be able to perform.
--Raiton Warrior Pt.2 | Lightning Rising
With his mastery over the element of Lightning, Azuma is able to become one with it for fast traveling purposes. Azuma's form becomes pure lightning and allows him to shoot across the sky as a bolt of lightning to travel, halving travel times--but for double the chakra cost, limiting his range. For the purposes of interacting with PC trackers, NPC, and entering villages, he must ground himself. This applies only to fast traveling, not normal travel. The color of the lightning bolt is a bright electric blue.
--Physical Focus
He can at will pay 5CP to bolster his muscles, using the chakra to bulk up his Strength, and while this has no bearing on his physical appearance, his muscles loose a bit of their lightning fast snap for running, lowering his overall speed. Azuma gains +1 Tier in Strength, but looses -1 Tier to his speed when he does this.
--Eye of the Sandstorm
Azuma is stronger in defending his home country then he is when invading another. When battling NPCs who are invading The Land of Wind, Azuma is able to autohit NPCs 1 tier higher then normal, but when invading other countries, he is only able to autohit NPCs 1 tier lower then normal.
--Advanced Chakra Control | Single Handed Seals
Using weapons makes weaving hand signs with both hands difficult at best and impossible at worst. Azuma has learned to perform hand signs with one hand. This results in a -1 loss of Coordination for that hand regarding hand seals.
--Second Wind
By taking in a deep and controlled breath, and letting it out smoothly, he is able to revitalize his body to a degree, and give himself a small recovery to her Stamina. This restores 25% of Azuma's chakra reserves, but only may be used once per battle. If he uses his Second Wind, the effects of exhaustion are applied immediately and doubled. If he reaches the point he no longer would be effected by exhaustion (A in Stamina), he will only suffer normal exhaustion effects instead.
--Experienced Teacher
After having had a few students under his belt, Azuma has become better at sharing his experience as a teacher to his students over time. Azuma gives his student's an additional 5 experience per post when threading together, but Azuma himself looses this experience per post. He is also able to do this when he is designated Team Leader of a Mission with all participants regardless of student status, as long as they are less experienced then Azuma, at least 1 Class Under.

Azuma has a passing interest in crafting, and is better then average at crafting things, able to make items 1 rank higher then his skillset allows--but doesn’t have the best material suppliers, upping the cost of materials by 50%.
